    Beth Brown

    Chief Executive Officer

    Beth Brown is a builder — of teams, systems, and solutions. Over her career, she has led diverse groups through complex projects, ranging from large-scale biomedical device testing to custom automation for hazardous environments.

    Her approach blends technical expertise in biology, engineering, and robotics with a passion for problem-solving and people development. She has improved on-time delivery, streamlined workflows, and expanded facilities — but what drives her most is seeing teams grow, thrive, and deliver results they didn’t think were possible.

    Before stepping into leadership roles in industry, Beth spent over a decade in education, creating award-winning STEM and robotics programs and expanding opportunities for underrepresented populations in science and engineering.

    Beth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and Secondary Science Teaching Certification from Northern Illinois University. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from Concordia University Chicago.

    Robert Spitz, M.D.

    Inventor and Chief Medical Officer

    Robert Spitz, inventor of the Flourish device, serves as medical director at ICON Government and Public Health Solutions, and Coastal Connecticut Research, in New London, Connecticut. He also has served as president of Contine Corporation (New London).

    A board-certified gynecologist, Spitz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College, and the medical doctor degree from Boston University School of Medicine.

    Jim Kasic

    Chairman of the Board

    With more than 25 years of experience in the Class I, II, and III medical device industry, Jim’s range of experience spans a spectrum from large multi-national organizations to start-ups with both national and international scope. He holds 40 U.S. and international patents and has authored several dozen scientific publications.

    Prior to Boulder iQ, Jim founded and served as president of Boulder BioMed, and president and CEO of Sophono, Inc. (acquired by Medtronic). At Otologics LLC, he held the positions of director of clinical research and training, and worldwide director of sales and marketing. Early in his career, Jim was an engineering manager and senior design engineer with Boston Scientific, and a reliability/process/design engineer with W. L. Gore and Associates.

    Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics, and a Master of Science degree in chemical and biological engineering, from the University of Colorado. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.

    Larry Blankenship

    Senior Technical Advisor

    Larry is a veteran medical device industry professional, with more than 30 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, strategic management, and funding. With hands-on experience in business planning, staffing, funding, design, development, regulatory approval, manufacturing, launch, and exits, he has helped start-up companies in the medical device industry get products to market since 2007. Larry has also held management positions in divisions of Eli Lilly, Pfizer, and the Battelle Memorial Institute.

    He is a member of the advisory board at Colorado State University’s School of Biomedical Engineering. He serves as a healthcare industry advisor to Blackstone Entrepreneur Network of Colorado and is a former director of the Colorado BioScience Association.

    Jill Liss, M.D.

    Clinical Advisor

    Dr. Jill Liss is a board-certified obstetrician–gynecologist and nationally recognized menopause expert with extensive experience across the full spectrum of gynecologic care. Her clinical work spans reproductive and midlife health, complex decision-making, and patient-centered menopause management.

    A physician-educator and national speaker, Dr. Liss is known for translating evidence into practical, real-world guidance for both clinicians and patients. She has led national educational initiatives to improve how menopause and midlife health are understood and delivered in clinical practice.

    Dr. Liss advises healthcare organizations and industry partners on advancing high-quality, evidence-based women’s health solutions, with a focus on clarity, access, and thoughtful integration of emerging therapies.

    Linda Elkins

    Strategic Advisor

    Linda Elkins is a board advisor and global business and operations executive with extensive experience across medical device, healthcare, MedTech, and innovation-driven growth.

    Over a 25-year career with W. L. Gore & Associates, Linda directed FDA-regulated medical product design, development, and operations, built Gore’s first Innovation Center in Silicon Valley, designed equity investment programs, and founded an internal startup that advanced through venture funding. A proven driver of value creation, Linda combines technical depth, financial acumen, and governance insight.

    She mentors and advises early-stage startup founders on go-to-market strategy, business development, and scaling their companies. She regularly coaches teams to position their companies effectively for early-stage capital and strategic partnerships and clearly communicate their value proposition to investors, partners, and customers.

    Seher Vatansever, DPT

    Pelvic Floor Advisor

    Dr. Seher is a pelvic floor physical therapist specializing in pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and bowel and bladder conditions. Her work is rooted in advancing women’s health and empowering women to feel at home in their bodies across all stages of life.

    Dr. Seher is known for translating pelvic health into clear, practical guidance through her clinical care and educational workshops. She is currently a practicing provider, working directly with patients, and integrates evidence-based treatment to support safe, sustainable healing.
